Cottage Industry as a company was registered in 1984, as a production cum export unit. & Was registered as an Export house in 1988 under the import /export code no.068800493 issued on first of April 1988.We are also a registered member of CARPET EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL OF INDIA under the registration no. CEPC/R/RCMC-1808/2002-3 The Company is engaged in exporting hand knotted woolen & silk carpets & handicrafts, which are produced in Cottages (homes of the artisans) that are units of COTTAGE INDUSTRY.

The company in run under the able guidance of its proprietor Mr. KRISHAN KALRA who is involved in production of hand knotted carpet for last 35 years. His son SANJAY KALRA runs the overseas expeditions & showroom. The Cottage Industry's team comprises of about 45 families living in & around Agra. The families work at their home executing the finest pieces of art with ethnic indo Persian & mogul Designs. We have always endeavored our very best to live up to the expectations of our patrons in quality of the product & timely deliveries.

 

We also make customize carpets i.e. carpets created by photographs or designs send by the consignee himself. We are committed to timely deliveries, insured, around the globe. We use the services of the most reputed companies like DHL UPS FEDEX to deliver goods via courier mode for bulk shipments we use airfreight services & sea freight all depending on consignee's requirement.
